Focke-Wulf Fw190 A-5 is a single-engine and single-seat very effective German fighter aircraft from the Second World War, which was able to reach speeds of up to nearly 670 km / h. The A-5 version was produced from 1943 and was characterized by a longer engine bed, a newer oxygen installation. An artificial horizon was also installed in it. In this model, the so-called Rüstsätze and Umrüst-Bausätze, i.e. a system enabling the attachment of additional weapons, ammunition, containers and fuel tanks, began to be widely used. Classic fighters became multi-role machines!
The Focke-Wulf Fw190 A-5 model built of COBI structural blocks is a faithfully reproduced low-wing from the period of World War II. Here, too, we consistently introduce a 1:32 scale for historical aircraft. Thanks to this, the plane is slightly larger, contains more details and a better reproduced body! The model offers many moving elements such as a rotating propeller, movable ailerons of the wings or wheels with rubber tires that can be folded to a horizontal position, allowing for great fun for all even the youngest enthusiasts of military and aviation and military technology. The smallest details and specific colors of the aircraft were reproduced. The cockpit can be opened to seat a pilot figure inspired by the character of the German Ace Walter Nowotny. Thanks to a special display stand with a plate with the name of the aircraft, the model looks great! The model uses permanent prints and historical markings.
