The British Mark V tank (male version) was produced in 1918 at the end of the First World War. The tank was equipped with two 57 mm cannons and five machine guns operated by an eight-man crew. The Mark V was travelling at a dizzying speed of 7.4 km/h and could cover a distance of 65 km on the road! These types of tanks took part in the clashes at Gomel, Amiens and on the Hindenburg line on the Western Front.
To this day, a museum copy from The Tank Museum in Bovington (Great Britain) marked with the number 9199 remains on the road. It was this copy with a documented combat history that served as the prototype for the COBI brick model.
Carefully reproduced, the MARK V (Male) model number 9199 consists of 837 COBI construction blocks and measures 29 cm in length. Thanks to the use of a 1:35 model scale, the model fits COBI figures and other vehicles released in this size. The tank is equipped with working tracked traction, rotating cannons and opening flaps. Markings and emblems are made of colorful blocks and durable prints that do not wear off even during intensive use. The set is accompanied by a tank commander figure and a plate with the name of the set and the logo of The Tank Museum.
Mark V is a must for enthusiasts of history, armored weapons and a beautiful model for the collection dedicated to the Great War. Build a story, block by brick!
