USS TANG was a Balao-class submarine of the United States Navy during World War II. The ship's armament included 24 torpedoes, an anti-aircraft cannon and two machine guns. The maximum tested immersion is up to 180 meters. She was launched on 17 August 1943. On 24 October 1944, during her fifth patrol, she was sunk. The only commander of the unit was Richard O'Kane, who, along with eight sailors, survived the shipwreck and remained in Japanese captivity until the end of the war. Statistics indicate that the USS TANG was the most effective submarine in the Pacific. She sank between 24 and 31 enemy vessels.

The model of the famous submarine was entirely designed from Polish COBI construction blocks in a sensational model scale of 1:144! The set consists of 777 elements and includes an addition in the form of a detachable side hull plating, under which there is a block imitation of the engine. The perfectly reproduced USS TANG model measures up to 66 cm in length. All graphic elements are durable prints that do not wear off even during intensive use. Additions such as the U.S. flag, movable gun barrels and propellers increase the attractiveness of the model.
USS TANG can be beautifully displayed on the aesthetic brick base attached to the set, which contains a plate with the name of the ship printed on it.

The ship will perfectly fulfill the function of an exclusive gift for everyone regardless of the age of lovers of history, militaria and maritime studies. It will look great on a desk, bookshelf or on a shelf with gadgets. Build history with us, block by block!
