Now you can become the owner of the iconic German off-road vehicle Kübelwagen TYPE 82 in the version made of COBI building blocks! This is our first large-scale 1:12 World War II vehicle! It was built on the model of a museum specimen in the Deutsches Panzermuseum Munster (Germany). It's huge, VERY detailed, and looks downright impressive when paired with the upcoming even bigger legendary Tiger 131 from The Tank Museum!

Features of the Kübelwagen (PKW TYP 82) EXECUTIVE EDITION:

  • Additional 174 elements,
  • Brick display stand,
  • A plate with the name of the set,
  • Dummy roof made of a roll of real fabric,
  • Two sets of headlights (regular and slotted),
  • Additional accessories such as two M24 hand grenades and a canister attached to the vehicle,

The set (#2802) with 1530 pieces and considerable dimensions is in a class of its own.  Attention is drawn to the carefully reproduced interior, excellent exterior design, completely new elements designed especially for such a large set. The interior of the car is reproduced in detail in every part, including the steering wheel, seats, knobs, switches and the engine compartment containing additional tools! The exterior also raises the bar in terms of accuracy of proportion and detail that only a kit of this size can provide. Suffice it to mention the dedicated windscreen, opening doors, access to the trunk lid and engine compartment, equipment elements and swivel wheels that can be moved with the steering wheel. Our 1:28 scale models are considered to be very detailed. However, it is the 1:12 scale and 1530 elements that allow us to show the capabilities of the COBI building block system. Kübelwagen represents a new level of design, photorealism and impressive size and precision. In this case, the number of blocks matters!

The Kübelwagen (PKW TYPE 82) EXECUTIVE EDITION
set was developed in cooperation with the Deutsches Panzermuseum Munster (Germany). We hope that both collectors and fans of COBI will have as much fun building and displaying this car as we had with designing and creating it. For all those who love military, military technology and history, this is an opportunity to bring home a BIG piece of this history. Build the story too, brick by brick!

The Kübelwagen Type 82 was a German military all-terrain vehicle produced during World War II. It was created as a response to the Wehrmacht's need for a low-maintenance, economical and reliable vehicle for use on a variety of terrains. Between 1940 and 1945, more than 50,000 examples of this vehicle were built. It was mainly used as an all-terrain vehicle, transport, sanitary, reconnaissance and as a platform for mounting light weapons. After World War II, some of the surviving examples of the Kübelwagen continued to be used by various countries and were also used as civilian vehicles. Thanks to its functionality, lightness and reliability, the Kübelwagen has become a classic symbol of the off-road vehicle and is still appreciated by car enthusiasts around the world.
