The Space Shuttle Atlantis is one of the greatest works of mankind and has become a permanent fixture in the history of space conquest. The brick model perfectly complements the COBI Historical Collection. The carefully designed set is in 1:100 scale. Very good reproduction, high-quality prints, moving elements, access to the interior, a cosmonaut figure and a mini model of the Hubble telescope combine collector's and educational values. You can expose the whole thing using the included stands containing signatures.
The construction of the set is simple. Intuitive instruction based on clear icons will help you easily go through the whole process of satisfactory construction. Build history, block by brick and create your own collection!

Atlantis (OV-104) is the fourth NASA space shuttle to fly a space flight. It was one of five reusable shuttles that were used to transport people and equipment into Earth's orbit. The first flight took place on October 3, 1985. During 26 years of service, Atlantis completed 33 missions and spent 306 days in Earth orbit. The landing of the shuttle on July 21, 2011 after a successful supply mission of the International Space Station ended the era of shuttles. After leaving the service, Atlantis was transported to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex where it now serves as a museum.

The Hubble Space Telescope, which travels in low Earth orbit, is named after the American astronomer Edwin Hubble. The telescope was launched into Earth orbit by the Space Shuttle Discovery on April 24, 1990. Since its launch, it has become one of the most important instruments in the history of astronomy, providing an incredible amount of data. The Space Shuttle Atlantis serviced the Hubble Space Telescope during the STS-125 mission in 2009. During the mission, new instruments were delivered and the necessary repairs were made.
